About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Data Product Manager to join the Auto Lending Data & Insights Product Team. This role will lead agile delivery efforts with our technology teams to advance critical work in the data warehouse. As the Product Owner, you will lead the scrum teams, remove roadblocks, and deeply understand the work needed to keep delivery on track. In addition, you will support the validation of new data sources by deep‑diving into the data to ensure accuracy, alignment, and readiness for downstream consumption. You will play a key role in our transformational modernization of data platforms, including expanding and optimizing data ingestion from new and scaled sources.
In this role, you will:
Strong communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
Engage with leaders, stakeholders, subject matter experts, scrum masters, project managers, and delivery team companywide
Understand data warehouse flows to lead refinement, definition of acceptance criteria and partner closely with engineering.
Advance SQL/SAS skills to support review and validation of new data sources.
Continuously refine the product vision, roadmap, and priorities for the Auto Data Warehouse to support strategic business and regulatory needs.
Translate complex data and business requirements into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
Lead end‑to‑end delivery of data ingestion, modeling, lineage, reconciliation, and quality‑control features across multiple squads.
Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and cross‑team impacts to keep delivery predictable and transparent.
Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership and cross‑functional partners through clear, concise updates and dashboards.
Mentor and guide analysts and product contributors, elevating delivery discipline and product thinking across the organization.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Technical data expertise, such as SAS/SQL, to drive technology and business teams towards an approved data strategy.

Exceptional ability to translate complex business and operational concepts so they are clearly understood in support of sound decisions to meet business objectives.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to clearly communicate results.
Experience in one or more of the following: data product management, data product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery or agile product owner.
Proven experience supporting the development or implementation of Data Governance frameworks, including policies, standards, and processes that ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance.
Strategic planning experience in translating leadership vision into executable strategies and initiatives.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.
Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations.
Demonstrated track record of effective influencing and collaboration at all levels.
Knowledge of data management frameworks and regulatory requirements
