Job responsibilities

Guides the evaluation of current cybersecurity principals, processes, and controls, and leads the evaluation of new technology using existing standards and frameworksRegularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors Works with stakeholders and senior leaders to recommend business modifications during periods of vulnerabilityServes as function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus  Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life CycleIdentifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall cybersecurity of software applications and systems Has experience in working with AI technologies and modelsFocuses on cutting edge security research to design, implement and automate new software preventative cybersecurity controlsInfluences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on Cybersecurity concepts and 5+ years applied experience.Experience in delivering enterprise-level cybersecurity solutions and controls.Hands on experience in one or more programming languages, with proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.Expertise in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle, including agile methodologies like continuous integration and delivery, application resiliency, and security.Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within technical disciplines such as public cloud, AI, machine learning, and mobile technologies.In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems, with practical cloud-native experience and deep understanding of software and applications.Evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend optimal solutions for future state architecture, and experience in effectively communicating with senior business leaders.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Preferred AppSec knowledge.M&A experience will be advantageous.Compliance experience in PCI, SOC 2.
