Senior Lead Business Services Consultant - Chief Data Office

Position Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes

Wells Fargo is seeking 3 Senior Lead Technology Business Services Consultants. They will function as Business Services Leads (BSL) to provide strategic operational support for the Enterprise Data Platforms, Enterprise Data Assets & Services and CDO Shared Services organizations. The Enterprise Data Platforms team establishes secure data platforms that deliver modern, scalable foundations for application development and data management. The Enterprise Data Assets and Services team delivers and maintains a centrally-governed, consumable suite of enriched data products, by providing multiple business enterprise assets, including enterprise authorized data sources (i.e., party, interaction data, reference and market data). This team also maintains all technology requirements for all CDO data assets. The CDO Shared Services team delivers high performing and scalable shared data technology capabilities to other CDO product and technology teams, including Information Architecture, AI enablement and delivery, shared technology development, and production management services. 

In this role, you will: 

Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic counselor to executive leadership and their team. 

Function as an operational linchpin and strategic facilitator fundamental to the efficiency and effectiveness of the teams supported requiring strong knowledge and understanding of technology operations, product models, annual planning, workforce and staffing, and budget insight. 

Deliver operational oversight and execution for your aligned leader acting as the point of contact for all BSL Product services including strategy, communications, workforce management, risk and control, demand management, financial management, employee engagement and reporting. 

Provide executive support for special initiatives, engagement related activities, and ad-hoc operational requests. 

Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in depth evaluation and cross channel collaboration. 

Engage with the technology leaders to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business and for execution of operational processes. 

Advise and influence leadership in support of developing programs that are effective and efficient for highly complex business and technical needs across one or more lines of business. 

 
Required Qualifications: 

7+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education 

 
Desired Qualifications: 

Dynamic, self-driven, and results oriented leader with a strong sense of prioritization, execution and urgency that can operate in a highly complex organization 

Track record of collaborating and building highly successful partnerships with executives and shared service organizations to deliver solutions effectively and efficiently 

Ability to influence, partner, communicate and negotiate with all levels of leadership to gain commitment to accomplish business goals 

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy and ability to thrive in a changing and dynamic environment 

Highly experienced in framing executive conversational, presentations, and analysis with ability to take complex ideas and synthesize key concepts and approaches 

Finance, budget planning and familiarity with contract requirements, contract negotiation, and execution 

Experience in successfully managing complex strategic programs/projects through project lifecycle from conception through roll-out and ongoing support in a large organization 

Experience operating within Agile product model environment (Scrum/Kanban) 

Knowledge and understanding of technology support related to data and analytic tools and platforms along with system integration: engineering or platform engineering experience 

Understanding of regulatory compliance, security, and privacy requirements within the financial services sector 

Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills 

Experience with Workforce Management 

Experience with Portfolio Demand and Capacity Management 

Experience with Governance and Control 

Job Expectations:

Ability to work on-site (in one of the listed locations) in a hybrid environment. There will be no option for fully remote work.
