**Job Title:** Sr/Lead Business Analyst (IAM) **Location:** Fully Remote (CST) **Term:** 12 Months, potential extension **Client Industry:** Higher Education **Overview** We are seeking a self-initiating, driven candidate to meet with business stakeholders from diverse backgrounds across the University to define and document Identity and Access Management technical and functional requirements. Someone with a proven ability to lead requirements discussions and document findings in User Stories, Functional, Business, and Technical Requirement documents. The ideal person will, thrive in ambiguous environments, and be effective in an Agile/Scrum team. In this role you will clearly identify acceptance criteria for all features and manually verify that solutions meet with acceptance criteria. Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Higher Education is a plus. **Key Responsibilities** + **Lead Requirements Gathering** : Facilitate and drive requirements elicitation sessions with business stakeholders, ensuring clear, actionable, and well-documented requirements. + **Stakeholder Collaboration** : Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams, translating business needs into technical specifications. + **Agile/Scrum Participation** : Actively contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) to ensure alignment and delivery of project goals. + **Manual Testing** : Perform hands-on manual testing to verify that acceptance criteria for requirements are met, ensuring high-quality deliverables. + **Documentation** : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user stories. + **Problem Solving in Ambiguity** : Navigate complex and ambiguous environments to identify solutions, clarify requirements, and drive projects forward. **Required Qualifications** + **Leadership in Requirements** : Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate requirements discussions with diverse business stakeholders. + **Agile/Scrum Expertise** : Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with a strong understanding of iterative development processes. + **Manual Testing Skills** : Hands-on experience in manual testing, including verifying acceptance criteria to ensure requirements are met. + **Comfort with Ambiguity** : Ability to work effectively in dynamic, ambiguous environments, with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. + **Communication** : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. + **Collaboration** : Strong interpersonal skills and a track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams. **Nice-to-Have Qualifications** + **IAM Experience** : Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) projects, including requirements analysis and implementation. + **Higher Education Experience** : Familiarity with the Higher Education sector, including knowledge of its unique processes and systems. + **Certifications** : Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile/Scrum certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster).
