What you'll be doing:
Analyze and anticipate problems related to very large GPUs, including warpage, electrical, thermal, and high-speed interconnect challenges.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in large GPU technologies, perform and learn competitive analyses, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
Lead the pathfinding of innovative solutions to technical challenges, ensuring superior performance and reliability.
Collaborate closely with Advanced Technologies, Architecture, ASIC, VLSI, Systems, Operations, and Software teams to champion new solutions and achieve alignment across the organizations for technology integration with our product roadmap.
Develop test vehicle plans and deliver functional prototypes that validate new technologies and pave the way for mass production readiness.
Craft and implement the bring up plan to thoroughly test emerging technologies and ensure they meet NVIDIA’s quality and performance standards.
Integrate these technologies into our production GPUs and systems plan of record to deliver expected benefits for important datacenter KPIs such as performance-per-watt, performance-per-TCO, and resiliency.
What we need to see:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) with minimum 12 years of experience.
Extensive experience in state-of-the-art multi-die GPU chips/system architectures, process nodes, and interposer/packaging/PCB technologies.
Strong understanding of related challenges such as mechanical and functional reliability of the attach technologies.
Hands-on problem-solving experience of issues related to: max-current limits of various structures in the Power-Delivery Network (PDN) and electromigration, PDN efficiency, and high-speed interconnects: their reach and related power and signal integrity challenges.
Proven track record of developing and implementing innovative solutions to complex technical problems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to details.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 196,000 USD - 310,500 USD for Level 5, and 232,000 USD - 368,000 USD for Level 6.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
