The SabreMosic Platform Technical Services team is looking for a Senior Java Devops Software Engineer.

As a Senior Java Devops Software Engineer, you will play a key role in accelerating SabreMosaic’s time-to-market, enhancing the efficiency, security, and automation of development and deployment processes. By designing and building robust services, frameworks and tools, you will directly impact system performance, security, and operational costs, driving innovation and efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Development & Collaboration - Design, develop, and test software applications, including cloud-based and internet-related tools (GCP, GKE). Apply hands-on experience in Java and DevOps to drive development efficiency.
CI/CD Automation – develop and optimize CI/CD automated pipelines to enable smooth, reliable, and repeatable deployments. Automate release processes for faster and more efficient software delivery.
Monitoring & Logging - Implement automated monitoring tools to ensure system health and performance when required.
Security & Compliance - Enforce security best practices, including secrets management, security scans, and compliance with industry standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with SabreMosaic teams, QA and operations teams to align software development, DevOps and SDLC practices.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing - Create and maintain documentation for services, frameworks and tools. Engage with peers and stakeholders, presenting technical insights and solutions.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Typically, 7-9 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with limited years of experience; or equivalent work experience (cloud based tech/languages, technology stacks, etc.)
Hands on experience with Unix/Linux platform
Hands on experience with Java v.11+ software development
Hands on experience with at least some of the following technologies: Bash (scripting), Cloud solutions, Python, Ansible, Jenkins pipeline.
Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools
Openness to learning and improving quality practices (e.g. smoke tests, acceptance tests, integration tests)
