Tyto Athene is searching for a Sr. IT Project Manager to join a team of expert engineers and technicians supporting a mission critical high profile government customer. In this role you'll function as part of a team providing full lifecycle support to Unified Communications services. Support will include project management, and support services for current and future UC capabilities. Primary services include audio visual, video conferencing, digital signage, internet protocol television, telephony, and chat services.
 

Responsibilities:

Perform project management functions as part of the Unified Communications teamCoordinate AV hardware installation across multiple sitesCoordinate all aspects of AV fit-up in new and existing buildingsTrain government customers in proper use of UC systemsPrepare operational guidesProvide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of UC systemsProvide assistance to user in accessing and using UC systemsDocument hardware and software configuration management processes and proceduresApply concepts and define and implement hardware and software configuration management processes and procedures, such as creating product build scripts and procedures, and integrate those scripts with the hardware and software build processConduct site surveysDevelop costing proposals for program managerInterpret drawings, specifications and other related documentsWork with engineering personnel, customers, vendors and other personnel to gather requirements, make recommendations and create project plan documents.Oversee implementation of AV projectsActs as equipment custodian and performs inventory asset management and accountability functions.Develop AVMM installation schedules based upon equipment delivery, integration complexity, and customer prioritiesOrganize and direct teams to address critical system failuresWork with other project managers and the program manager to successfully bring projects to completion Qualifications

Required:

Six (6) years’ experience as an IT or AV Project ManagerBachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university or equivalent.In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, an Associate’s Degree in a technical discipline and two (2) years’ AVMM experience or four (4) years of AVMM experience in the areas identified above may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree for a total of seven (7) years’ experience.

Desired:

Experience with one or more of the following: IT or AV projects, Crestron, Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams Room Systems, Cisco Video Conferencing, Haivision, Mass Notification, Land Mobile Radio.

Compensation:

Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $110,000-$180,000. This does not guarantee a specific salary as compensation is based upon multiple factors such as education, experience, certifications, and other requirements, and may fall outside of the above-stated range.
