YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a Senior IT Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership for the IT function in our Boston office. In this role, you will ensure the delivery of reliable IT

services, oversee local infrastructure, and lead a high-performing team. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities.

In your daily job you will:

Provide day-to-day leadership and direction for the local IT teamSet priorities, delegate tasks, and ensure accountability for deliverableOversee the Tech Bar to ensure high-quality, in-person support.Collaborate with Workplace Tech leadership to align with organizational goalsOwn and manage all local IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, andOversee proactive maintenance and upgrades to minimize downtime and operationalImplement best practices for disaster recovery and business continuityEnsure timely resolution of IT issues and act as the escalation point for criticalManage device lifecycle, AV/VC support, and meeting room standardsMonitor and report on key performance metrics for IT operationsAct as the primary IT contact for local leadership and Executive AssistantsUnderstand business needs and align IT services to support organizational goalsCommunicate effectively with stakeholders to set expectations and provide updatesIdentify and mitigate operational risks related to IT systems and processesEnsure compliance with corporate IT policies, security standards, and regulatoryContribute to IT strategy and roadmap developmentAssess emerging technologies and recommend solutions to support future growth

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in a leadership roleProven track record of managing IT operations in a multi-site or regional environmentSkilled in coordinating and leading IT local infrastructure upgrades and migrationsKnowledge of ITIL or similar IT service management frameworksExceptional people management, coaching, and team-building capabilitiesExtensive experience working at C-level and with Executive AssistantsAbility to translate complex technical concepts into clear, simple language for nontechnical stakeholders. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skillsProficient in MDM solutions (JAMF, Microsoft Intune and zero-touch deployment)Familiar with SaaS platforms, SSO and cloud migration strategiesSkilled in troubleshooting across Windows, macOS and iOS environments, mobile devicesKnowledge in Entra ID and Active DirectoryHave solid experience with software deployment, patching and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN)

Preferred Certifications ITIL Foundation or higher

ITIL Foundation certification (or higher)Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project management certificationsRelevant technical certifications, such as Microsoft Certified, Cisco CCNP, or Apple Support Professional

Boston:

 Salary Range: $177,500 k-$220K
