Job Description:

TD Securities Global Infrastructure (TDSGI) Group provides specialized support, engineered solutions, and a dedicated technology environment that enables new technologies, and the agility to meet the unique needs of the TD Securities and Treasury & Balance Sheet Management partners.

Given the diverse set of software, infrastructure designs and facilities that these businesses rely on, the TDSGI team manages a diverse environment by: 

Run The Bank & Governance:
Ensure we are compliant in our Base Support and Governance requirements for servers including Backup remediation, HPSA remediation, Monitoring Server performance, Patch management, Access Management, Change & Incident Management, Performance and Problem Management.  Projects:
Work with Design Leads to provide appropriate technology solutions.
Build and implement new Infrastructure solutions as per design.
Working closely with Application development teams to ensure the appropriate end-to-end solution is implementedService Requests:
Provide rapid turnaround day-to-day support, consultation, and engineered solutions to Application teams.
 

We work with partners throughout the organization including Enterprise Protect, Architecture, Security Operations, ITS Engineering & Operations, and Audit to develop relationships and ensure the team is integrated with relevant projects, support policies, Enterprise standards, security, risk and compliance activities.  

We are looking for someone with diverse skills and background with MongoDB to carry out a broad range of operational service and support assignments. You'll join others in environment management, maintenance, monitoring, performance, incident management, as well as production support activities. There's meaningful work at every turn! Though a very operational role, we all wear engineering hats to better and broaden our presence and skills to better serve TD Securities.

The main responsibilities of this position are to:

Consult, engineer, install, configure, and maintain NoSQL database systems that are consistent with project objectives, client requirements, TD's technology architecture standards and departmental best practices.Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and responsiveness.Collaborate with application and development teams to design and implement database structures and schemas.Regularly backup, restore, and test database data to prevent data loss and ensure robustness.Stay up-to-date with the latest database trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously optimize database systems.Utilize Oracle and NoSql subject matter expertise to design or re-use, configure, and implement database solutions/processes that maximize system availability, efficiency, effectiveness, integrity, security, recoverability, and supportability, all while minimizing costs.Provide 3rd level on-call support on a rotational basis.Job may contain afterhours support for project related work as well as scheduled changes.

CUSTOMER
