Senior Investment Analyst/Portfolio Manager

Then join us now! In this role you will be primarily responsible for executing private credit transactions in Southeast Asia and Australia for AllianzGI’s Asia Private Credit team. The team is part of the c. USD 105bn AllianzGI Private Markets platform. The position is located in Singapore.

This is a great opportunity to join a team of 8 investment professionals currently based in Singapore and Mumbai.

Since inception in late 2018, Asia Private Credit has successfully raised Secured Lending Funds I and II from both Allianz entities and other institutional investors.

Infrastructure and New Energy Fund I is currently in fundraising, with first closing targeted for end of 1H 2025. The majority of work would be in this space and some sector specific knowledge, especially in SE Asia, would be helpful.

What you will do

• Support PMs on the end-to-end execution of private credit transactions in Southeast Asia and Australia, across both Secured Lending as well as Infrastructure and New Energy strategies

• Carry out industry research as well as detailed credit and financial analysis of investment opportunities

• Assist in the preparation of investment proposals / credit memos, financial modelling and due diligence of underlying corporates and borrowers

• Support PMs in the drafting and negotiation of term sheets and long-form transaction documentation

• Support PMs in the ongoing credit monitoring and asset management of existing positions in the portfolio

• Prepare business updates and marketing collateral for internal and external stakeholders (e.g. portfolio updates or fundraising materials for LPs).

What you bring

• At least 6-8 years’ experience working for a credit fund or investment bank in Asia. Experience working on SE Asia transactions is a plus

• Proven experience in executing corporate finance and capital raising (preferably debt) transactions, credit risk analysis and underwriting, financial modelling etc. in Asia

• Fluency in English

• Relevant past / transaction experience in private credit as well as infrastructure and energy transition sectors are a plus

• Solid academic track record

• Exceptional technical skills encompassing corporate finance and financial modelling

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

• Detail oriented and strong organizational skills

• Self-starter and willingness to learn

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

• Team player
