This is a high-impact role for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys cross-functional collaboration, systems integration, and process optimization. **What You’ll Do:** **Revenue Accounting Leadership** + Oversee implementation and compliance with ASC 606 across all revenue streams. + Review contracts and ensure accurate classification of product, service, and subscription-based revenue. + Manage journal entries for deferred, accrued, and adjusted revenue using Oracle and AS400 systems. **Inventory Accounting Oversight** + Ensure accurate inventory valuation and costing methodologies (FIFO, LIFO, weighted average). + Reconcile inventory transactions and accounts during month-end close. + Collaborate with supply chain and operations to manage provisions for excess, obsolescence, and shrinkage. **Systems Reconciliation & Cut-Off Management** + Lead reconciliation between Oracle GL and AS400 subledger systems. + Ensure accurate cut-off procedures and timely transaction recording. + Partner with IT and operations to resolve discrepancies and enhance data flow. **Audit & Compliance** + Manage internal and external audit processes for revenue and inventory. + Prepare audit schedules and documentation in compliance with SOX and GAAP. + Lead internal control audits and identify areas for improvement. **Financial Reporting & Disclosures** + Oversee revenue and inventory-related financial statement disclosures. + Ensure accurate presentation of deferred revenue, contract liabilities, and inventory balances. + Prepare ASC 606 footnote disclosures. **Cross-Functional Collaboration** + Partner with FP&A, sales, and operations to align accounting with business strategy. + Support forecasting for revenue and COGS. + Collaborate with Credit & Collections to maintain CECL compliance and accurate bad debt reserves. **Team Leadership & Development** + Lead and mentor a team of revenue and inventory accountants. + Provide training on complex accounting issues and evolving standards. **What We’re Looking For:** + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred). + 7+ years of experience in revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and cost accounting. + Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and inventory costing methods. + Proficiency in Oracle GL and AS400 systems. + Strong reconciliation and systems integration skills. + Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration experience. + Excellent communication and analytical skills. **Why This Opportunity?** + **Strategic Impact** : Lead mission-critical accounting functions that directly influence financial performance. + **Growth & Innovation** : Join a company that values continuous improvement and operational excellence. + **Leadership Role** : Mentor a talented team and shape the future of financial reporting. + **Flexibility & Support** : Enjoy a hybrid work model and a collaborative, inclusive culture.
