Job Title: Sr Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sr Inspector to join our team and conduct thorough inspection activities. The role involves examining products for defects, verifying specified dimensions, rejecting defective parts, and marking the type of defect. You will initiate nonconformance reports for packaging and shipment, and conduct final inspection activities to ensure correctness of parts, quantities, and associated quality documentation before shipment.

ResponsibilitiesExamine products for defects and sort them according to the extent of defect.Verify specified dimensions of products or materials.Reject defective parts and mark the type of defect on the part, container, or inspection tag.Initiate nonconformance reports for products intended for packaging and shipment.Conduct final inspection activities by comparing products against shippers to verify correctness of parts, quantities, and quality documentation.Perform additional duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience in aerospace inspection and final inspection.Quality inspection skills adhering to AS9100 and AS9102 standards.Proficiency in quality control, aerospace inspection, and GD&T knowledge.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).Work Environment

You will be working in a small machine shop with approximately 20 employees. The role operates on a 9/80 shift schedule from 6am to 3:30pm. Flexibility is required for occasional work during weekdays and Saturdays, depending on company needs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
