About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer.
In this role, you will:
Lead or participate in computer security incident response activities for moderately complex eventsConduct technical investigation of security related incidents and post incident digital forensics to identify causes and recommend future mitigation strategiesProvide security consulting on medium projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standardsDesign, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for moderately complex security solutions related to networking, cryptography, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint securityReview and correlate security logsUtilize subject matter knowledge in industry leading security solutions and best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuityIdentify security vulnerabilities and issues, perform risk assessments, and evaluate remediation alternativesCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in Secure Development Lifecycle Management by designing & developing non-functional security requirements (NFRs).3+ years of experience in reviewing enterprise policies, industry standards such as NIST SSDF, OWASP ASVS, defining security problems and develop actionable NFRs tasks.3+ years of experience in implementing and managing automated security requirements tools such as SD Elements.3+ years of experience in interacting with users to understand their requirements, and providing guidance and resolving their issues.3+ years of experience on designing, developing & supporting WASAPI (based on OWASP's ESAPI).3+ years of experience with all or some of the following practices like Security Requirements, Application Threat Modeling, Static Analysis, Application Security Risk Assessments, Security Design requirements.Knowledge and experience on developing prompts for security coding and integrating those in the Developer's IDE platform.Knowledge and experience in working with various application security tools and systems.Knowledge and experience in identifying and suggesting mitigations to OWASP top 10, CWE/SANS top 25 to development teams.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment.Advanced problem-solving skills, ability to develop effective long-term solutions to problems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent inter-personal skills contributing to cordial team environment.Knowledge and understanding of secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies.Experience in drafting application security coding standards.Ability to manage highly complex issues and negotiate solutions.Knowledge and understanding of Application security threat management and mitigation domain.Application security experience with banking/financial services applications.Certified in Industry renowned certifications like CISSP, CSSLP, CEH etc.Coding/Scripting experience with Python or Java Script.Excellent data analysis skills.Experience working with Secure SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.Experience with Azure Cloud and Google Cloud platforms.Experience executing controls and responding to tests or audits of controls.Experience identifying and producing metrics and reporting.
Job Expectations:
Contribute to Secure Development Lifecycle Management practice by designing, defining and managing non-functional security requirements.Contribute to security coding guidelines for different programming languages.Contribute to Web Application Security API (WASAPI)Understand the Secure SDLC program and its implementation across the organization and stay abreast with the changes to the program.Suggest and execute changes to the program and implement the changes to the enabling tools.Integrate with the state side leads to understand requirements and implement them in the practices and tools.Develop and leverage the ability to execute any AppSec stream assigned.Associate with Application Security Champions, Architects and Application development teams in Governance, oversight, and enablement of Enterprise Application Security as part of Secure SDLC.Apply knowledge of information security and application development industry trends and technology to drive organizational change and position to properly manage and remediate vulnerabilities.Ability to work in a hybrid model. Expected to be in office three days a week.
