Job Summary
The Senior HR Generalist serves as a representative for the region and is responsible for providing local HR expertise and support for a broad range of HR-related duties. This role will require a professional with international experience, an ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment, and a passion for developing people.
Responsibilities:
Manage employment contracts and ensure compliance with local labor law and employment regulations. Assist with the immigration process as needed. Handle HR administration (policy updates, employee records in HRIS).Coordinate HR orientation for new hires. Support managers and employees with day-to-day HR queries. Manage employee relations cases (e.g. long-term sick leaves, terminations). Serve as escalation point for vendors. Partner with management to reinforce a safe and positive work environment and support a culture initiatives.Qualifications & Requirements:
At least Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 7 years’ experience in HR roles.Strong knowledge of labor laws, tax regulations, and employment practices across EMEA.Ability and desire to keep up to date with legal changes. Practical experience working with HRIS systems.Familiarity with visa, work permit, and relocation processes across EMEA countries.Excellent knowledge of English and strong knowledge of Dutch (upper intermediate level or higher).Desired Characteristics & Attributes:
