STV is seeking a Senior Highway Design Task Lead to join our dynamic Chicago Transportation Group. You will lead major projects, mentor junior staff, and serve as a technical expert in a collaborative, flexible environment.
What You'll Do at STV:
Lead and produce high-quality highway/roadway design plans that meet client expectations and adhere to budgets and schedulesServe as the go-to technical resource for internal staff and provide guidance on design standards and best practicesCollaborate with external design disciplines to ensure seamless project integrationOversee technical execution and maintain accountability across multiple projectsAssist project managers with planning, budgeting, and client coordinationSupervise and mentor engineers, CAD staff, and junior team membersManage multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines while maintaining quality standardsStay current with IDOT/Tollway guidelines and evolving design proceduresWhat We are seeking in our candidates:
