Senior General Manager

What this job involves:

As a Senior General Manager at JLL, you will lead and oversee comprehensive real estate operations while driving strategic business growth across multiple markets or business lines. This executive role requires you to manage complex client relationships, deliver exceptional service outcomes, and guide cross-functional teams toward ambitious performance targets. You'll be responsible for developing and executing business strategies that align with JLL's vision of shaping a brighter way for our clients, ourselves, and our fellow employees. The position demands strong leadership capabilities as you'll mentor senior managers, cultivate key client partnerships, and ensure operational excellence across all service delivery areas. You'll work closely with regional leadership to identify growth opportunities, optimize resource allocation, and maintain JLL's reputation for innovation and client-centric solutions. What your day-to-day will look like:

Oversee operational performance across two (2) office Properties, ensuring delivery excellence and client satisfaction metricsBuild and maintain executive-level relationships with key clients, serving as their primary strategic advisor and trusted partnerMentor and develop management talent, fostering a culture of collaboration that strengthens team performance locally and across the globeCollaborate with regional and global leadership teams to implement best practices and drive organizational objectivesManage P&L responsibility, including budget development, forecasting, and resource optimization across business unitsPresent to senior leadership and key stakeholders on business performance and strategic initiativesChampion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives while supporting each other's wellbeing across all teams

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or related field15+ years of progressive leadership experience in commercial real estate or related professional servicesProven track record of managing large-scale operations with P&L responsibility exceeding $50 million annuallyStrong business development skills with demonstrated ability to secure and grow major client relationshipsExperience leading and developing senior management teams of 25+ professionalsAdvanced financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis capabilitiesExcellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level audiences and stakeholder managementDeep understanding of commercial real estate markets, trends, and industry best practicesDC Real Estate License and Property Manager license, required within six (6) months of joining JLL

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related advanced degreeProfessional certifications such as CCIM, SIOR, CPM, or equivalent industry credentialsExperience with global real estate operations and cross-cultural team managementTrack record of successful mergers, acquisitions, or major business integrationsTechnology-forward mindset with experience implementing innovative solutions and digital transformation initiativesActive involvement in industry associations and thought leadership within the commercial real estate community

Location: On site

Salary: $145,000 -$155,000

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

174,000.00 – 186,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
