Senior FP&A Analyst Job ID 232470 Posted 07-Aug-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Accounting/Finance Location(s) London - England - United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland **Senior FP&A Analyst** The Senior FP&A Analyst will be responsible for the management of, reporting on and budgeting & forecasting for the Global Local HQ P&L (mainly the Overheads base), and for providing FP&A business partnering support to the Global Local HQ Functional Directors. **What You’ll Do** •Reporting on monthly Global Local HQ opex spend by business area versus Plan / Forecast and Prior year, with meaningful commentary and analysis to explain variances in a commercial way •In-depth analysis of opex run rate spend, and assist in identifying opportunities to improve results / cost savings •Management of monthly risks and opportunities based on run rate analysis and input from discussions and reviews with budget owners •Through analysis during month end before the close, ensure that that opex is booked in the correct general ledger account and cost centre so that opex reporting is accurate •Quarterly forecasting including submission to Corporate and providing back up analysis and support for the numbers •Own the models & run the calculations for: bonus accruals, growth bonus and stock compensation. This includes annual bonus file setups & uploads to compensation tool. Experience in building and managing complex bonus calculation models is desirable •Annual budget process – manage and take responsibility for accurate budgeting. Present and explain the budget in a clear and succinct way, ensuring variances to prior year are understood. •Promote and drive increased use of TM1/ Power BI for all management reports on opex across the business •Provide meaningful input into the Power BI reports for Global Local opex, ensuring that the reports are meaningful and include the key KPI’s and information required, and that they are used by the business **What You’ll Need** •Likely to be between +3 years PQE with +4 years experience in industry •Demonstrable experience of business partnering to senior finance / directors and strong analysis, presentation and communication skills •Demonstrable experience of working in a similar role in a complex multi-national •Demonstrable experience of developing and running models to calculate bonuses for multiple schemes and with varied complexity and provide scenario modelling •Proven track record of reporting with and developing TM1 / HFM / Peoplesoft or similar software. •Proven experience of analysing large data sets, identifying key trends and communicating findings to senior management in a concise and understandable manner •Excellent Excel skills essential (“VLOOKUP’s”, “sumifs”, pivot tables, macros)/Modelling.
