Senior Financial Reporting Analyst
Job Title: Senior Financial Reporting Analyst Job Description Join a dynamic financial services technology company as a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst within the Controllership team. This role is crucial for supporting both external and internal financial reporting, external audits, month-end accounting, and various operational accounting and reporting projects. Responsibilities + Audit/Tax Support: Monitor and track audit engagements, providing updates to stakeholders to ensure timely completion. + Coordinate with external auditors during the annual testing process by supplying necessary documentation. + Support internal audit initiatives related to SOX controls. + Assist in federal, state, and local tax compliance through documentation preparation and data gathering. + Partner with external tax advisors for all tax filings and contribute to ongoing compliance and audit requirements. + Engage in ad hoc projects, analysis, and management reporting initiatives. + Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation of US GAAP and non-GAAP financial reporting deliverables, ensuring accuracy and compliance. + Maintain disclosure checklists to ensure compliance with GAAP and disclosure requirements. + Stay informed on changes to accounting standards and assess their impacts on financial statements. + Technical Accounting: Handle complex accounting for non-standard transactions, including business combinations and equity conversions. + Support complex accounting analyses in areas such as goodwill impairment and non-controlling interest. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex accounting topics, including revenue recognition. + Perform month-end close responsibilities, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations. Essential Skills + 4+ years of experience in External Audit and/or financial reporting. + BA/BS degree in Audit, Accounting, Tax, Finance, or related field. + Experience with Big 4 or Top 20 Audit firms. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. + Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statement preparation. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with clientele within billion-dollar companies and financial services sectors, including asset and wealth management. Work Environment Enjoy a hybrid work schedule with on-site presence required from Tuesday to Thursday, while working from home on Monday and Friday.
