**Senior Financial Controller**
**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Senior Financial Controller you will be part of the Dutch Controllership Team responsible for daily financial operations (P2P, C2C, GL, VAT, CIT, statutory financial statements, monthly and quarterly reporting). The role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and at the same time an ability to understand the big picture. Complete fluency in English is required. A good understanding of Peoplesoft and OneStream would be an advantage.
This job is part of the Advisory – Controllership department.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Coordinate month-end-close tasks, making sure that the team has posted all required journal entries
+ Participate in month-end-close meetings and explain any variances between actuals and the forecast
+ Attend staff meetings to discuss the forecast and actuals for several cost categories and check these cost categories
+ Post allocations during the month-end close
+ Post accruals
+ Perform quarterly and monthly reporting to EMEA and to the Dutch Board
+ Perform/control balance sheet reconciliations
+ Become involved in the external audit, manage the audit process, and prepare the financial statements
+ Calculate CIT, support the tax team by delivering the required documents for tax returns, coordinate payment of CIT, provide oversight for the CIT process
+ Prepare documents required by the transfer pricing team
+ Manage ad hoc projects in the controllership team or CBRE projects
+ Create a variety of statistics and reports required by law and external regulators
+ Work with one financial accountant and support this person on a daily basis
**What You’ll Need:**
+ A degree in Auditing, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
+ Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
+ ACCA/CIMA certification or program participation would be advantageous
+ 3+ years of experience in auditing, controllership, or a similar finance role in an international environment
+ Strong analytical skills, with the ability to see both the big picture and dive into the details
+ Preferably experienced in PeopleSoft and OneStream
+ Fluent in English (spoken and written – at least C1 level)
+ Fluency in Polish is highly desirable
+ Very good MS Excel skills
+ Hands-on, self-starter attitude
+ Strong communication skills
+ Ability to work with multiple stakeholders based in different countries
