In April 2023, TRATON embarked on an ambitious journey to integrate independent brand Research & Development (R&D) Organizations in Scania, MAN, International, and Volkswagen Truck & Bus into a single global TRATON R&D organization.
By integrating the capabilities and resources of our brands, we will accelerate the introduction of new technologies and solutions to deliver the most competitive products and solutions to our customers.
We currently have a great opportunity for a Senior Financial Consultant on our TRATON USA’s R&D Team.
In this key role, you will work closely with various business units to gain a deep understanding of operations and deliver actionable financial insights that drive profitable growth. We’re looking for a results-driven finance professional with strong analytical abilities, advanced financial modeling skills, and excellent communication capabilities.
Responsibilities
Lead monthly financial, operational, and board review preparationsPerform in-depth financial analysis and develop complex financial modelsCreate and present financial insights to support and influence strategic decision-makingPrepare financial forecast, trend evaluations, and fluctuation analysisProactively identify and communicate trends, risks, and opportunitiesDrive planning and forecasting cycles (Strategic Plan, Operating Plan, and monthly forecasts)Oversee R&D program approvals and provide management supportLead capital project assessments and business case developmentManage headcount forecasting, analyze resource utilization, and develop relevant performance metricsSupport the implementation of best-practice financial tools and processes to deliver efficiency improvements
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degreeAt least 5 years of finance experience1 year lead experience
OR
Master’s degreeAt least 3 years of finance experience1 year lead experienceOR
At least 8 years of finance experience1 year lead experienceAdditional Requirements
