This Senior Financial Analyst role will be supporting the Cigna Canada and all its subsidiaries’ companies in Canada. This role will be providing value-added, in-depth financial analytics for Management and supporting finance functions. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** + Prepare and report on financial performance for senior management and Board’s review. + Prepare monthly reporting packages for financial review discussions. + Data mining to assist in preparing a comprehensive financial overview. + Provide value-added financial analysis and financial result dashboards. + Prepare Regulatory Capital and Investment Analysis. + Research, monitor and analyze all regulatory, accounting and tax standards. + Research and report on industry data analysis to management. + Assist with maintaining supplementary lead schedules. + Assist with the preparation of plan and forecast. + Assist in the facilitation of audits with external auditors. + Assist in maintenance of accounting policies and procedure documentation. + Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirement and internal policies. + Work with key stakeholders across the organization (e.g. Pricing, Underwriting, Reserving and Claims). + Assist in finance projects and initiatives as needed. + Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by manager. **QUALIFICATIONS** + Bachelor’s degree and a recognized Canadian professional accounting designation (CPA) is a must. + Proficiency in report writing and presenting findings (e.g. PowerPoint Presentation). + Ability to analyze and interpret statistical and financial information. + 3+ years of progressive work experience in an analytical or auditing function. + Experience in the financial services industry, preferably within the insurance industry. **About Cigna Healthcare** Cigna Healthcare, a division of The Cigna Group, is an advocate for better health through every stage of life.
