Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as dedicated support to a San Francisco-based top fee-earner within the Capital Markets Equity Debt & Structured Finance (EDSF) group. In this role you will support all phases of the financing process, including preparing detailed financial analysis and valuations, assisting in preparing proposals for new business opportunities, and creating marketing materials for new assignments. The team represents institutional owners of all major property types throughout the Western United States. The ideal candidate will have the desire to grow in the commercial real estate industry, have a strong background in financial analysis, excellent writing skills, be self-motivated with excellent time management skills to prioritize deadlines, and have a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

  Advanced Argus skills (workplace experience) and ability to build cash flow models is a requirement.

Outstanding communication and writing skills. (A writing sample may be required)

Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables.

Willingness to work in a goal-oriented, demanding, focused, collaborative, dynamic team environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with coursework in accounting, finance, economics and/or real estate, with strong academic credentials. MBA is a plus.  2 -5+ years of commercial real estate experience, preferably with a firm engaged in brokerage, investing, banking, consulting, appraisal, or business development.Advanced Argus skills (workplace experience) and ability to build cash flow models is a requirement. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables.Willingness to work in a goal-oriented, demanding, focused, collaborative, dynamic team environment.California Real Estate Salesperson License required within the first year; existing license a plus.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $72,250.00 - $85,000.00
