We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting Team in our Florida Business Unit headquarters in Deerfield Beach. This role involves assisting in the development of financial models to support the company’s strategic planning, preparing budgets and forecasts, and analyzing company performance against key performance indicators and competitors.
ResponsibilitiesConduct business analysis using a deep understanding of objectives, issues, and root causes to provide insightful, fact-based data analysis for solving complex problems related to revenue, costs, logistics, and profit optimization.Assist in creating financial models, researching, and analyzing trends, leading indicators, and business statistics.Utilize data infrastructure by extracting, aggregating, and dissecting financial data and performance metrics.Leverage recurring and ad hoc management reporting to identify trends, support business cases, and understand opportunities and risks.Support management in creating an annual budget aligned with the strategic plan and perform forecasting to provide visibility into business results.Assist with business analysis for the annual budget and forecasting as directed.Support management in developing strategies and initiatives for growth and margin improvements, including M&A support, product launches, market entry, and process improvement efforts.Identify and recommend best resources for mining information on business initiative requests.Maintain awareness of general business and financial conditions.Partner with key stakeholders and business partners to align on business priorities and drive effective solutions and execution.Build working relationships with management and other partners in support of key priorities and objectives through analytics.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Finance; MBA preferred.Five to six years of experience in business finance.Advanced training and/or experience related to development of financial models.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.Experience with Hyperion Essbase and/or SAP is a plus.Excellent organizational and project management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under time constraints with a large and diverse group of internal customers.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.Can-do attitude and demonstrated experience in working within a team environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
