Summary:\n

The Senior Financial Accounting Manager serves as a senior-level technical accounting resource for the retail division. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial information, maintaining proper general ledger activity, and supporting the division's financial reporting requirements. The position is ideal for a detail oriented, deadline-driven professional with a strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and public company compliance.\n

Key Responsibilities:\n\nSupport the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for the retail division, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. \nPrepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with corporate reporting standards.\nConsolidate financial data across retail locations and maintain general ledger integrity.\nMonitor accounting activity and maintain compliance with GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and public company internal controls.\nAssist with quarterly reviews as well as internal and external audit requests, providing documentation, reconciliations, and explanations as needed.\nSupport retail locations as needed for activities that impact accounting processes and procedures.\nAssist with accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistency and regulatory compliance.\nReview financial performance and trends with leadership, identifying areas of concern or opportunity.\nParticipate in implementation and optimization of financial systems and tools, as needed.\n\n

Quali\ufb01cations & Skills:\n\nBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA required\n6 years in financial accounting preferably in a public or multi-entity environment.\nStrong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and internal control compliance (SOX), and audit readiness.\nDemonstrated ability to work with large volumes of data and resolve discrepancies analytically.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems. Comfortable validating system output.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a high volume, fast-paced environment.\nHighly organized with strong documentation discipline and accountability.\nClear communicator - able to convey accounting findings to leadership concisely.\n\n
