Role Definition

Leads cross-departmental Treasury Finance Transformation initiatives to enhance systems, processes, and analytics to drive operational effectiveness and efficiency. Supports the global deployment of enterprise treasury management systems to automate, standardize, and transform payment and cash management processes. Designs solutions aligned to global banking standards, corporate policies, and local requirements.

Responsibilities

Supports the production of monthly interest rates and performs risk analysis; interprets results.Identifies significant trends in behavioral patterns of consumers that have a direct relationship to interest rate movements, as well as those that do not.Monitors foreign exchange market conditions and other financial derivatives to adjust market risks on an appropriate level.Assesses financial risks of forecasted transactions using modeling capabilities of in-house applications.

Skills Required:

Communicating Complex Concepts: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience.Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.Financial Markets: Knowledge of the products, types, competitors, customer base, major issues and regulatory considerations in the financial markets; ability to apply financial market knowledge to various business environments.Financial Services Applications: Knowledge of a specific financial services application, associated systems and sub-systems; ability to use financial services applications for delivery of services to internal and external clients.Market Risk: Knowledge of processes, tools, and techniques used for analyzing market risk; ability to assess and manage investment exposures to market risk.Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

What Top Candidates Will Bring:

Treasury systems expertise, including hands‑on experience with Quantum and TRAX or other comparable platform: Ability to navigate, maintain, and optimize Treasury Management Systems, with proven experience supporting upgrades, integrations, or process enhancements.Deep knowledge of cash management and payment processing: Skilled in liquidity operations, payment execution, bank connectivity, settlement instructions, and ensuring accuracy and control across processes.Demonstrated cross‑functional project leadership experience: Capable of collaborating with Treasury, Finance, Technology, and other partner groups. Brings experience aligning stakeholders, supporting timelines, and contributing to successful project delivery.Ability to lead, influence, and drive change: Proven capability to influence decisions without formal authority, improve workflows, standardize processes, and support organizational transformation.High adaptability and strong professional curiosity: Thrives in evolving environments, quickly absorbs new systems or regulatory requirements, asks thoughtful questions, and proactively seeks better ways of working.Strong analytical and communication skills: Able to interpret data, identify process gaps, and communicate recommendations clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.Continuous improvement mindset: Comfortable with modern tools, automation, and analytics, bringing a tech-based forward‑looking approach to streamlining treasury processes.

Compensation & Benefits:

Summary Pay Range:

$118,860.00 - $190,176.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
