This pivotal role will primarily focus on overseeing and optimizing the financial operations of our Frankfurt, Germany operations. You will be responsible for all aspects of financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and management reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, a proactive approach to process improvement, and a thorough understanding of the German financial landscape. This position falls under the Financial Strategy and Operations job function, with responsibility for maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls. **What You’ll Do:** + Lead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for Frankfurt, Germany operations. + Prepare and analyze complex financial reports (balance sheets, cash flow, etc.). + Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly journal entries. + Provide ad hoc financial analyses and presentations for senior management/ + Identify and implement process improvements and automation (revenue, reporting). + Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures. + Manage revenue recognition processes, including automation. + Prepare monthly invoices. + Oversee and improve client reporting processes (automation focus). + Collaborate with German operational teams for financial alignment. + Drive cost savings initiatives and vendor analysis within the German operations. + Manage the complete financial operations (forecasting, invoicing) for Frankfurt. + Analyze debt/credit and contribute to cost control and savings initiatives. **What You’ll Need:** + Bachelor's Degree preferred, with 5+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounting. + Demonstrated experience working with the German market, including a strong understanding of German accounting principles and financial regulations. + Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations. + **Expertise in PeopleSoft is essential** . + Experience with automating revenue recognition processes is highly desirable. + Proficiency in Excel is required. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English. + Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. + Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. + **Nice to have:** Experience with Power BI. **What We Offer:** + **A remote role based in Poland,** offering work-life balance and flexibility. + A supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and teamwork. + Opportunities for professional development and career advancement. + The opportunity to work with an interesting international client in a dynamic and growing company. + A comprehensive benefits package including private medical care, sports card co-participation, and life insurance facilitation.
