This role is is responsible for the overall operation, reliability, and maintenance of data centre facilities. This role ensures continuous availability of critical infrastructure systems including power, cooling, fire protection, and building services, while maintaining compliance with safety, regulatory, and uptime requirements. The role leads facilities teams and vendors to deliver a safe, efficient, and resilient data centre environment.Job Description
About the Role:
Lead and manage all data centre facility operations, ensuring 24/7 availability of critical systems (power, cooling, HVAC, fire, BMS)
Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to meet uptime and reliability targets
Manage facility-related vendors, service contracts, SLAs, and performance reviews
Ensure compliance with health & safety, regulatory requirements, and data centre standards (e.g. Tier, ISO)
Support capacity planning, upgrades, expansions, and facility-related projects in coordination with ICT and project teams
About You:
Extensive experience in facility management within data centres or other mission-critical environments
Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and building systems
Proven leadership experience managing teams, contractors, and service providers
Strong understanding of uptime, redundancy, risk management, and incident response
Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
