Senior Facilities Coordinator

Our client is seeking a Senior Facilities Coordinator to oversee daily facilities operations, including work order management, inspections, vendor coordination, and maintenance documentation to ensure a safe, efficient, and reliable workplace. As a Senior Facilities Coordinator, you will support space planning and employee moves, maintains safety and compliance programs, provides emergency management support, and assists with workplace services, supplies, and small facilities projects. The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently & as part of cross-functional teams, able to work under minimal supervision and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title: Senior Facilities Coordinator**
**Location: Des Plaines, IL**
**Pay Rate: Pay will be up to $39/hour (dependent on experience)**
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead day-to-day facilities operations, including work order management, inspections, asset tracking, and escalation of maintenance and safety issues
+ Coordinate vendors and contractors across building services, ensuring service quality, documentation, and invoice accuracy
+ Manage workplace services, supplies, and small facilities projects, while supporting reporting, KPIs, and operational data integrity
**Requirements**
+ Minimum of 8+ years of relevant professional experience
+ 3–5 years of experience in facilities, maintenance, or workplace operations
+ Hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and other building systems
+ Experience coordinating vendors and using CMMS/work order systems
