**About the Role** Uber Autonomous Vehicles Cloud team is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a team of engineers to collect large volume, highly diverse driving data for building L4 autonomy. This is a hands-on leadership role for a seasoned engineering leader with deep knowledge of autonomous technologies and proficiency in external collaboration with AV partners and OEMs. What the Candidate Will Do: + Oversee multi-year technical vision to empower the business. + Lead and mentor an engineering team. Provide coaching and technical direction to foster a high-performance culture. + Drive cross-functional collaborations. Inside Uber, work closely with operations, business and fleet teams to align execution details. Outside of Uber, work with AV partners and OEMs/ODMs to unblock critical dependencies and deliver business impact. + Define and deliver critical business goals. Drive engineering and operational excellence. Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related fields. + 9 years of industry experience. 4 years of experience in engineering management. + 3 years of experience in autonomous driving, robotics or related domains. + Proficient with sensor technologies, such as Camera, LiDAR, RaDAR, GNSS, IMU. + Proficient in cross-functional collaborations. Preferred Qualifications: + Familiar with managing supply chain, OEMs/ODMs. Experience in collaboration with manufacturers for Camera, LiDAR, RaDAR, etc. + Familiar with ROS or NVIDIA Drive OS. For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$267,000 per year - USD$297,000 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
