This position will be a leadership role focused over a product line that this company is looking to expand and grow. This role will have oversight over engineering and the manufacturing operations for this product line. They will be focused on driving overall profitability for this product group while also looking for continuous improvements to manufacturing and engineering. This role overall will have 3 direct reports, managers over engineering and plant operations.

This company manufactures equipment that produces blow molded plastic products. This role is specifically over the \"Molds Division\". They will be overseeing the growth and development of their molds and expanding the growth within that group. Knowledge with in Blow molded plastics is required for this role, or any close applicable experience.

CLIENT JOB DESCRIPTION:

•\tDevelop and execute the strategic plan aligned with overall business objectives and customer requirements.

•\tDrive revenue growth, margin improvement, and long term profitability.

•\tIdentify new market opportunities, technologies, and partnerships to expand the division’s capabilities.

•\tTranslate business goals into measurable operational targets and ensure achievement of KPIs.

•\tEstablish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

•\tOversee end to end division operations including sales, mold engineering, design, CAM, manufacturing, testing, and service.

•\tImplement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.

•\tOversee production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure 100% on-time delivery.

•\tChampion continuous improvement initiatives across all functions.

•\tOptimize equipment utilization and manage capital projects to support growth and efficiency.

•\tCollaborate with Sales to develop competitive proposals, pricing strategies, and customer solutions.

•\tServe as the primary point of escalation for customer issues and disruptions.

•\tBuild strong relationships with key customers, understanding their technical needs and long term programs.

•\tSupport global sales efforts with technical expertise and strategic guidance.

•\tProvide oversight and direction for mold design, standards, and manufacturing technologies.

•\tEvaluate new materials, machining methods, and tooling innovations to maintain competitive advantage.

•\tEnsure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and Uniloy quality systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

5+ years working in leadership role focused on product development and growth. Engineering knowledge within the plastics industry, preferably blow molded plastics. 10+ years of overall engineering experience in manufacturing.

This is a Permanent position based out of Tecumseh, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $150000.00/yr.

Health care benefits, along with a strong 401k package, PTO and other perks. Relocation structure is also a possibility for a candidate.

This is a fully onsite position in Tecumseh,MI.
