As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for executing, driving, and owning assignments through all stages of the development lifecycle to completion. You will document and map requirements to standard application functionality. You will function as a technical expert on complex applications, work assignments, and business problems.
**Key Responsibilities:**
· Works with project managers, business analysts, content specialists, and digital product owners to understand how business requirements and technical specifications will translate to actual work product across platform.
· Writes clean, efficient and well-engineered front-end code that can serve as standard of excellence for other team members.
· Conducts code reviews, mentors other front-end developers and provides guidance on code management, release management, environment management, process flows and documentation.
· Explores all technical options when considering a solution, including homegrown coding, third party sub-systems, enterprise platforms and existing technology components.
The candidate will be required to Design, Configure, Build, Test, Deploy and maintain NetSuite applications
Creation of documentation for software development and testing
Participation and use of Agile development methodologies
**Functional requirements:**
+ Candidate will act as a bridge between all departments within the NetSuite practice that includes Sales (Opportunity, Proposal, Sales Orders, Forecasting, Territory Management and Quotas), Inventory Management (Purchasing and Fulfilment), Customer Support, Inventory Control, Accounting (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Invoicing), users with various role, Vendors and Partners
+ Plan, review and revise configurations and customizations of NetSuite as needed to meet evolving needs
+ Serve as an internal subject matter expert and supports all company activities including but not limited to maintenance, updates, system implementations, integrations, and process flow deployment
+ Provide front line support and troubleshooting with regards to all aspects of NetSuite and data integrations. The NetSuite admin will proactively look for ways to improve productivity and will participate in internal projects and administrative tasks
+ Provide on-going system/technical support to users, including training and access for all roles. Maintain up-to-date knowledge and documentation of NetSuite functionality, customization, and integration. Map, transform and load data
**Technical qualifications:**
+ Hands on Suite Cloud development experience including Suite Talk and Suite Script (1.0 & 2.0)
+ Knowledge of JavaScript, SOAP, REST, XML, HTML and JSON technologies
+ Extensive understanding of Suite Flow, Suite Script, Suite Builder, Workflows and Map-Reduce
+ Experience in Integrating NetSuite with 3rd Party software
+ CSV Imports, Advance PDF Templates, Custom Records, Lists, Form customization required
+ Must have knowledge in RESTlet development Integration / Interface development and skills between NetSuite, POS and legacy systems
**Required Experience:**
· Bachelor's degree in eCommerce, eBusiness, information technology or related field preferred
· Holds minimum of 5 years of experience in the same domain
· Working knowledge with code management systems
· Working knowledge with intake and task management tools
· Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
· Working knowledge of development frameworks
· Working knowledge with build tools
· Working knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies
· Ability to multi-task and reprioritize in a dynamic environment
· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
· Basic understanding of budgets including processing invoices and other financial documents through accounting processes and practices
