We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Senior Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) Functional Consultant to play a key role in the successful delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions across Sales, Customer Service, Customer Insights, and AI-enabled CE capabilities including Copilot and Agents.
The ideal candidate will combine strong functional expertise with consulting maturity—able to lead client-facing discovery, translate business needs into fit-for-purpose CE solutions, and identify, design, and implement practical Copilot and agent-based scenarios that drive measurable business value.
This role is hands-on, delivery-oriented, and client-facing, with expectations to contribute to practice capability, presales, and continuous improvement.
Primary dutiesClient engagement and functional consultingLead and facilitate client workshops to gather, validate, and prioritise business requirements, including identifying high-value AI, Copilot, and agent scenariosTranslate business needs into functional designs aligned to Dynamics 365 CE best practicesAdvise clients on process optimisation using out-of-the-box Dynamics 365 CE capabilities, including Copilot, agent-assisted workflows, and AI-driven insights, minimising unnecessary customisationAct as a trusted functional advisor to client stakeholders, confidently handling scope, expectations, and value trade-offs related to AI adoptionSupport user adoption through strong functional storytelling, demos, and AI change enablementSolution design and deliveryOwn functional solution design across Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, and Customer InsightsProduce high-quality functional artefacts including process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and configuration documentationCollaborate with solution architects and developers to ensure functional intent is correctly implementedSupport data migration, integration design discussions, and testing strategy from a functional perspectiveLead or support user acceptance testing, including test scenario definition and defect triageDelivery excellence and qualityEnsure solutions align to NTT DATA delivery standards and Microsoft Success by Design principlesBalance value, scope, effort, risk, and AI readiness when making functional recommendationsContribute to on-time, on-budget delivery with high client satisfactionCapability building and knowledge contributionMentor and coach consultants on CE functional consulting skills and behaviorsContribute reusable assets, templates, and lessons learned to the CE practice knowledge baseMaintain currency with Dynamics 365 release waves, Copilot capabilities, and Power Platform enhancementsActively apply learning from Microsoft guidance and real-world delivery back into practice improvementPresales and business development supportSupport presales activities including discovery workshops, solution shaping, and estimationContribute functional expertise to proposals, statements of work, and client presentationsIdentify follow-on opportunities within active engagements and escalate appropriatelyRepresent NTT DATA’s CE capability professionally in client and Microsoft-facing interactionsExperience and skills required
Proven experience delivering Dynamics 365 CE solutions in a lead functional consulting roleStrong functional knowledge across at least two of: Sales, Customer Service, Customer InsightsDemonstrated understanding of Copilot capabilities within Dynamics 365 CEExperience leading workshops, requirements definition, and UATStrong written and verbal communication skills with senior client stakeholders
