As the Senior Director of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking, you will lead multiple technical areas and oversee the activities of various departments. You will collaborate across technical domains, applying your expertise cross-functionally to promote the adoption and implementation of technical methods within diverse teams. Your role is crucial in helping the firm stay at the forefront of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements.

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience. In addition, 5+ year of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise and more broadly across the organization
Experience in managing large teams and organizations, with a track record of successful leadership in complex, matrixed environments.
Experience developing and leading large or cross-functional teams of technologistsDemonstrated prior experience influencing across highly matrixed, complex organizations and delivering value at scaleExperience leading complex projects supporting system design, testing, and operational stabilityDeep expertise building and operating large scale high performance transactional environments with distributed systems and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)Deep expertise with enterprise design patterns and industry best practices with experience using modern technology (e.g., Java, Cassandra, Kafka) and design patterns (e.g., micro services, APIs)Experience with building, leading and mentoring technology teams and next level leaders within the organization.
