Luxuriously appointed private villas are built into a gently terraced hillside named Bukit Permai, which means "beautiful hill".

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Extensive leadership experience in both public relations and marketing disciplines, ideally within luxury hospitality and/or luxury goods/services.Proven ability to develop and execute integrated content strategies across paid, owned, and earned channels to deliver measurable outcomes and optimize ROI.Skilled in managing agency relationships, including defining scopes, KPIs, and governance.Experience in overseeing paid media and SEO strategies, interpreting performance dashboards, and partnering with agencies to optimize initiatives.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field; or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 8–10 years of experience in public relations and marketing, including leadership responsibilities; luxury hospitality or related industry experience preferred

POSITION OUTLINE

STRATEGY, PLANNING & PERFORMANCE

Develop and lead the annual PR and Marketing strategy and supporting channel plans aligned with commercial goals and property priorities.Lead the creation and execution of the integrated marketing and communications calendar, including campaign plans, global brand initiatives, and on‑property activations; ensure alignment across paid, owned, and earned channels.Identify and analyze seasonal trends, key moments, priority feeder markets, and target audiences to inform annual marketing and campaign planning.Apply market intelligence, consumer trends, guest insights, and competitive analysis to guide positioning and data-driven decision-making. Adjust strategies as market conditions evolve.Together with the Commercial Director, oversee the planning, allocation, and tracking of Advertising & Promotion (A&P) investments within the property’s P&L, ensuring budgets across paid, owned and earned channels, including content, are optimized to maximize campaign impact, strengthen ROI, and drive growth through FourSeasons.com.Establish and monitor a local measurement framework (KPIs); track Property Scorecard metrics; conduct post-campaign analysis to inform future initiatives.Deliver comprehensive performance reporting across all channels; apply insights to refine strategies and optimize future initiatives.Set and manage annual budgets with disciplined financial accountability.Maximize adoption of global brand initiatives and campaigns in local and feeder markets to showcase the property’s distinctive guest experiences.Champion brand stewardship at the property level by ensuring consistent execution of brand guidelines with local relevance and adherence to governance processes.

PUBLIC RELATIONS AND REPUTATION MANAGEMENT

Build and maintain strong relationships with tier-one local, regional, and international media through proactive pitching, press trips, immersive experiences, representation at in-market media events and ongoing engagement.Maintain an up-to-date Press Room with media materials and property assets aligned to strategic narratives and brand standards.Direct local PR agency work: define scopes, expectations, and success measures; ensure deliverables support property priorities.Support the designated property spokesperson (GM) with strategic guidance, interview preparation, and media engagement facilitation.Develop and execute an annual awards strategy aligned with brand priorities, overseeing submissions for hospitality, travel, lifestyle, culinary, wellness, and sustainability awards.Act as a strategic advisor on crisis communications and reputation management; monitor sentiment and online feedback to identify risks and opportunities and respond to online reviews.Maintain and activate a crisis communications plan, leading cross-functional messaging during issues to protect and enhance brand reputation.Support community relations and Four Seasons for Good initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand values and local stakeholder expectations.

INTEGRATED MARKETING AND DIGITAL MEDIA

Lead integrated marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and earned channels to drive reach, conversion, and aspiration, ensuring seamless orchestration and alignment with brand guidelines.Define and activate the property’s unique positioning through compelling storytelling and creative expression in partnership with Global and Regional teams.Manage production and coordination of property photo and video shoots to support brand storytelling, always-on content needs, and campaign priorities; maintain the property’s image and video library and usage rights.Identify, negotiate, and activate strategic brand collaborations that enhance guest experience, elevate property positioning and deliver commercial impact.Develop and execute social media and owned-channel content strategies; create influencer and content creator programs (hosted stays, collaborations) to extend reach and engagement.Establish FourSeasons.com digital performance growth goals across SEO, PPC, paid social, display, and programmatic with agency partners, achieving annual website and channel‑mix targets and revenue growth across ancillary areas (F&B, Meetings/Weddings, Spa) through disciplined ROI and KPI optimization.Interpret performance dashboards, monitor performance against targets and partner with agencies to optimize social and digital performance in real time (investment, content, targeting, cadence) based on insights.Maintain and optimize owned web content across Four Seasons digital platforms, including the property website, landing pages and standalone restaurant websites (as applicable), ensuring accuracy, compelling storytelling, and alignment with positioning, increasing organic search visibility and conversion goals.Execute marketing initiatives for on-property activations and guest experiences aligned with brand positioning; include ancillary campaigns for F&B, Spa, and seasonal offerings.Guide CRM-driven acquisition and retention strategies to deepen guest engagement and loyalty, including owned email content, audience targeting, segmentation, and performance optimization.Oversee translation and localization of content to engage multilingual and multicultural audiences.

LEADERSHIP AND CROSS-FUNCTIONAL

Lead, coach, and develop PR and Marketing team members; foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and high-quality execution.Build cross-functional partnerships with Operations, Sales, Revenue Management, and Finance to align messaging, experience delivery, and commercial priorities.Collaborate with Regional and Corporate Commercial teams to integrate property initiatives into broader brand priorities and campaigns.Act as a key strategic partner on property, ensuring communications efforts advance both brand equity and measurable commercial outcomes.Demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, fostering alignment and trust across property leadership, regional teams, global partners, and external agencies.
