4 Year Degree Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise the Director of Creative Video and Director of Graphic Design Assists with social media as it relates to Falcon Athletic Fund and Sports Camps objectives Oversee and lead the department in the development, coordination and implementation of strategic social media campaigns to promote Air Force Athletics Works autonomously to ensure social media projects are completed on time and identifies new projects to further the Air Force Athletics brand Serves as the principal social media correspondent for Air Force Athletics’ main account and football social media channels, working independently to ensure these accounts are engaging, entertaining, and informative Recommends, builds and executes organic campaigns for Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, and YouTube as well as other channels as needed Responsible for analyzing ongoing social media metrics, analytics, and creating reports and visualizations to effectively communicate digital results Involved in the daily ideation in regard to creation, editing, content capture, and implementation of video and graphics for social media Manage Air Force Athletics’ in-house photography for athletic competitions and other events on an as needed basis Develop monthly social media marketing schedules Effectively communicate with others in the athletic department to develop strategies that drive revenue and increase fan engagement Oversee the execution of corporate sponsorship activations as they pertain to social media Conduct social media training for cadet-athletes, coaches, staff, and other personnel as needed Oversees digital interns and manages social media training as needed Understand and adhere to a variety of department and Academy brand standards, as well as NCAA and conference compliance policies Position will travel to select away games and championships Reports to the Associate Athletic Director for Marketing & Creative Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:  

Bachelor's degree in related field is required 2 plus years of related work experience or related field Strong understanding of Meta and X social media platforms among others Basic understanding of photography and photo editing Knowledge of digital marketing principles, practices, and procedures Experience using Adobe Creative Suite products  Strong copywriting and editing skills Ability to meet stringent deadlines and work outside normal working hours, including nights and weekends when required Experience in the sports industry preferred
