The Senior Director will report directly to the Vice President, White House and Office of the Secretary of War Customer Relations Team within the Corporate Global Business Development organization.
Located in Falls Church, VA, the selected candidate will be responsible for expanding and maintaining effective customer relations between Northrop Grumman and the Department of War, focused on the Office of the Deputy Secretary of War, OUSW-Policy, OUSW R&E, OUSW A&S, and the Joint Staff. The Senior Director will also be prepared to engage across the interagency to support Northrop Grumman objectives.
Specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Designing, coordinating, and executing customer engagement plans in support of the NGC priority programs.
Providing key insights into DoW policy, programmatic, budgetary, and legislative initiatives affecting NGC equities.
Effectively representing NGC senior leadership views and positions with senior Department of War staff, leadership and others across the interagency.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 15 years of combined U.S. Government service and/or business development experience including management and leadership experience; Master's degree with 13 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience with the Department of War and impactful relationships with the target customer.
Top Secret security clearance with SCI; maintaining the required security clearance will be a condition of continued employment.
Proven ability to think strategically and integrate policy, political, requirement, and budgetary arguments to best inform senior U.S. Government civilian and military decision makers.
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as project management, analytical, planning, and presentation skills.
Knowledgeable of the PPBE, and ongoing changes to MDAP and Acquisition Reform.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience navigating and coordinating with the U.S. interagency.
Master’s degree in National Security or related discipline.
Executive presence to include a high level of confidence, integrity, and hands on approach to problem solving both internal and external to the company.
A team player, self-starter, with a strong work ethic and ability to work cooperatively across the organization without significant staff support.
Primary Level Salary Range: $242,100.00 - $363,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
