GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr. Director Finance, Planning, and Analysis is a strategic financial partner for the Retail Services organization responsible for managing the costs associated with department overhead expenses, construction capital, occupancy costs and repairs & maintenance spend. Other responsibilities include creating the department annual plan, quarterly forecasts, capital budgeting, post audit analysis and monthly reporting.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Takes accountability for the direction, control and coordination of all financial activities for the Retail Services team including cost controls, capital management and construction cost management. Oversees the Financial modeling for 3 year strategic planning for Retail Services. Drives translation of strategic plan into an annual budget. Ensures that the annual plan is supported by adequate action plans resulting in a realistic, achievable budget. Leads Retail Services team through quarterly forecast process. Remains aware of changing trends in the business and proactively provides solutions to business issues to maximize short-term and long-term strategic/financial objectives. Leads meetings and completes timely monthly status and reporting for construction, repairs & maintenance, occupancy and operating costs. Improves financial / business acumen of Retail Service teams through dissecting business into easy-to-understand key drivers and actively coaching non-financial leaders. Has the desire to help others develop into business leaders. Participates in or leads strategic / tactical business initiatives (may or may not be financial) that provide broad-based value for the Retail Service teams. Develops and monitors capital expenditure budgeting including working with project owners on developing business cases, estimating costs, cash flow implications and return on investment. Acts as the liaison between Retail Services team, Luxottica Finance and Brand Finance teams ensuring entire Luxottica Finance team is leveraged to provide holistic business solutions to the team. Provides status of financial condition of the business by collecting, interpreting, and reporting key financial data.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting 10+ years of experience in Finance (FP&A, Accounting, M&A, etc.) Public accounting and retail industry experience High-energy financial leader with proven track record of improving processes and adding value to the business Strong analytical skills and ability to provide deep insights that result in improved results Ability to understand the business at a strategic and detailed level Ability to effectively summarize their detailed business understanding into executive level presentations with insightful perspective Excellent inter-personal and communication skills to effectively participate on cross-functional brand projects Outstanding business acumen and critical thinking skills; brings logical solutions to business issues (not just financial) Demonstrated leader and team player to partner Financial and management reporting skills – can develop easy to understand reporting with insightful perspective Presentation skills; experienced in creating and delivering presentation for senior management Proven track record of improving processes and creating value beyond their immediate area of influence

Pay Range: 194,530.20  - 269,105.40 

This posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
