Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the product development life cycle, leading to the successful execution of key product initiatives for institutional and high net worth investors, including:
Leverage industry knowledge and experience to best position Columbia Threadneedle’s asset management capabilities and solutions to meet client needs.
Perform market research and analysis to identify future product development opportunities across traditional asset classes and alternative investments.
Ensure investors can efficiently access Columbia Threadneedle capabilities across a wide array of vehicles, including private funds, collective investment trust funds and alternative investments across global institutional and high new worth markets.
Conduct fee benchmarking and profitability analysis, to ensure competitive pricing for new product offerings.
Communicate the product development status to senior leaders across the organization concisely and effectively throughout lifecycle of the project.
Support the implementation of new products in close collaboration with senior internal partners across the organization including distribution, marketing, investments, operations, legal and compliance, etc.
Drive other new institutional strategic product initiatives and/or custom proposals for large institutional clients, as needed.
Perform other duties as required, which may include activities such as supporting new product development activities, providing input into other product team projects and initiatives, supporting distribution efforts, and contributing to sales and marketing collateral.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors’ degree
Series 7 (or SIE and Series 7 top off exam) and 66 (or 63 & 65 combined) or the ability to obtain within 180 days
Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience of financial industry experience
Investment product expertise with institutional funds and/or alternative investments
Preferred Qualifications
Project management expertise, including the ability to build relationships and collaborate with senior leaders across the organization to drive results
Communication skills including the ability to write a business case, lead project meetings, and present product development proposals to internal committees and fund boards
Analytical and problem-solving experience using data to identify trends, issues and potential solutions

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $173,000- $233,000 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
