Senior Director, Measurement and Audiences Portfolio

We're seeking a strategic product leader to own and drive our Measurement and Audiences portfolio. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you'll be accountable for the full P&L and strategic direction of products that enable advertisers to plan, activate, measure, and optimize their campaigns across our platform. This portfolio sits at the intersection of data science, media execution, and business intelligence—requiring both analytical rigor and commercial acumen.What You'll Do
Portfolio Leadership & StrategyOwn the vision, roadmap, and business outcomes for Measurement and Audiences products, including reach/frequency campaign measurement, outcomes measurement, audience segmentation/activation, and platform integrationsDrive portfolio-level prioritization across competing needs—balancing feature development, technical infrastructure, partner integrations, and strategic insights initiativesDefine success metrics spanning customer adoption, measurement accuracy, revenue impact, and operational efficiencyTranslate market trends and customer feedback into actionable product strategy that differentiates our platformTeam LeadershipLead and develop a team of Product Owners/Managers across reach & frequency, outcomes measurement, audiences/activation, integrations, and strategic initiativesCoach team members on prioritization frameworks, data-driven decision making, and stakeholder influenceCreate clarity around roles and ownership, especially for the strategic initiatives function that identifies insights-driven opportunities for productizationBuild a high-performance culture that balances speed of execution with quality and customer impactCross-Portfolio CollaborationPartner closely with Data Science and Engineering to ensure measurement and audience modelling methodologies are statistically sound, scalable, and explainableCollaborate with Sales and Client Services to understand advertiser measurement and audience needs and translate them into product requirementsWork with Business Development to prioritize and scope third-party integrations (DSPs, analytics platforms, data partners, clean rooms)Strategic Initiatives & InsightsOversee a function dedicated to identifying product opportunities through customer insights, competitive analysis, and market researchEstablish processes for evaluating which strategic insights warrant investment and productization vs. one-off solutionsDrive thought leadership externally on measurement best practices, privacy-safe attribution, and audience strategyMonitor industry evolution (MTA, MMM, incrementality testing, privacy changes) and position the portfolio accordinglyCustomer & Market FocusServe as the voice of advertisers and agencies, understanding how they evaluate campaign success and make optimization decisionsEnsure products deliver accurate, timely, and actionable insights that drive customer value and retentionNavigate complex measurement challenges including cross-device tracking, walled garden limitations, and attribution modelingChampion industry standards and collaborate on initiatives that advance measurement transparency
Who You Are12+ years of product management experience, with 5+ years leading product teams in ad tech, measurement, analytics, or audience platformsDeep expertise in digital advertising measurement—reach/frequency metrics, attribution models, incrementality testing, brand lift studies, or audience analyticsProven track record of managing products as a business, with P&L accountability and clear ownership of revenue and customer outcomesStrong analytical foundation with ability to evaluate statistical methodologies, challenge assumptions, and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholdersExperience managing both platform products (audience activation, measurement dashboards) and strategic initiatives (insights, R&D, partnerships)Exceptional ability to work in a highly matrixed environment—balancing needs of Sales, Engineering, Data Science, and external partnersPreferred Experience Experience with integrations to major ad platforms (Google, Meta, Amazon, The Trade Desk, etc.) and understanding of their APIs and data modelsTrack record of taking insights from strategic initiatives and successfully translating them into scaled product featuresFamiliarity with privacy-preserving measurement techniques (clean rooms, aggregated reporting, synthetic controls)Experience in both B2B SaaS and media/advertising business modelsThe Challenge This role requires someone who can operate at multiple altitudes—setting portfolio strategy while also diving deep into measurement science and audience debates. You'll need to balance the tension between customer-specific requests and scalable product development, between innovation in strategic initiatives and execution on core roadmap, and between being a demanding customer of upstream data products while being a reliable producer to downstream activation teams. Success means delivering measurement products that advertisers trust, that differentiate our platform, and that scale profitably.$200,000 - $275,000 a yearSamba TV expects to offer a base salary between $200,000 - $275,000 USD per year for roles to be performed in New York or California; actual base salary offered will depend on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Base salary is just one component of Samba TV’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include bonuses, short-term incentives and long-term incentives.
