Senior Director, Digital Experience

Drive the long-term digital commerce roadmap, optimizing usability, content, merchandising, and conversion to position the website as a major growth engine for revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. **Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities** + Sets and owns the strategic vision for WhiteCap’s digital commerce experience, aligning initiatives with enterprise goals and growth priorities. + Leads large-scale UX and platform innovation, including navigation, search, personalization, and end-to-end customer experience enhancements. + Leverages data, experimentation, and advanced analytics to accelerate conversion, strengthen engagement, and optimize site performance. + Oversees digital marketing investments, ensuring effective ROI, strong vendor performance, and alignment with customer acquisition and retention strategies. + Directs content, merchandising, and digital storytelling strategies in partnership with marketing, category, and sales leaders. + Collaborates cross-functionally with IT, supply chain, finance, and product teams to deliver platform improvements, digital campaigns, and omnichannel capabilities. + Builds, develops, and leads high performing digital teams, including UX, digital merchandising, analytics, and site operations. + Champions innovation and customer centric design, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and digital excellence across the organization. **Nature and Scope** + Problems are complex and may be defined by higher level leadership. Solutions require high strategic level analysis and investigation. + Drives strategy and methodology and serves as the subject-matter expert for policies and practices. Decides how to achieve planned results within an organization's plans, policies, and guidelines. + Manages via multiple layers OR directly supervises a staff of professional individual contributors at the senior or technical advisor level. Directs budgetary responsibility at the enterprise level or for two or more businesses across the enterprise. **Work Environment** + Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. + Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. + Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. **Education and Experience** Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 9+ years of experience in a related field, including several years in a management/supervisory capacity **Preferred Qualifications** + 10+ years of progressive digital leadership experience with a strong focus on eCommerce, omnichannel strategy, and enterprise‑level digital transformation. + Proven success building, scaling, and leading high‑performing digital teams; experience operating within a Product Operating Model. + Expertise in UX principles, site performance metrics, conversion optimization, and digital analytics. + Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, content strategy, and driving measurable business impact through digital channels.
