Senior Director, Corporate Strategy - Club Transformation (Sam's Club)
Position Summary...We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Director of Club Transformation to lead and elevate the end-to-end journey of our associates—from day one through retirement. This role is a critical pillar in our Omni Transformation, ensuring our frontline and support associates have the right tools, processes, and experiences to thrive in an evolving retail landscape.

Reporting into the VP of Omni Transformation, you’ll lead a team responsible for designing and delivering world-class associate experiences, closely leveraging the People teams to execute. From reimagining digital tools and workflows, to mapping key journey moments and driving process improvement, you’ll help us future-proof how we support and empower our people.

What you'll do...Lead the strategy and execution of associate experience transformation, spanning tools, technology, and operational workflows.Lead associate journey mapping and design, identifying friction points and opportunities from onboarding to retirement.Drive process engineering initiatives to simplify and enhance daily experiences for our associates.Act as a key connector between the Omni Transformation team, the People Function (HR), Operations, Product, and Tech to align efforts and deliver holistic solutions.Bring a product mindset to associate tools—prioritizing usability, scalability, and impact.Champion the voice of the associate in transformation workstreams to ensure human-centered design.Build and lead a high-performing team passionate about elevating the associate experience.

What you’ll bring…

A strategic, systems-level thinker with deep empathy for the associate experience.Experience leading large-scale transformation or associate-facing initiatives within complex organizations.Proven track record of working cross-functionally and influencing without authority.Strong background in journey mapping, process optimization, or workforce technology.Passion for solving problems at scale through collaboration, data, and creativity.Self-starter who thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and loves to connect the dots.

Preferred Qualifications:

10+ years in roles related to HR transformation, employee experience, operations, or strategy.Experience in retail or other frontline-intensive industries strongly preferred.Familiarity with tools like Service Design, Lean Process, Agile, or Human-Centered Design is a plus.

The annual salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$260,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
