Senior Director, Business Intelligence
Valet Living is seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Director of Business Intelligence to elevate how data informs decision-making across our commercial organization. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations, this role blends enterprise-level strategy with execution, building the analytics foundation that powers growth, performance optimization, and operational scale. Compensation & Work Environment Details + Salary Range: $155,000 - $165,000 + Bonus Target: 18% of annual salary + Location: Remote with up to 10% travel required What You’ll Do: Own the Business Intelligence Strategy + Define and execute a comprehensive BI strategy aligned to commercial and company-wide priorities. + Establish a clear analytics roadmap, including data architecture, reporting modernization, governance maturity, and automation. + Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, using data to shape strategy, investment decisions, and long-term planning. + Identify leading indicators, trends, and growth opportunities that inform forecasting, pipeline health, segmentation, and market strategy. Build a Scalable, Trusted Data Foundation + Design and oversee modern data architecture and semantic models that enable reliable, enterprise-grade reporting. + Champion a single source of truth through strong governance, data definitions, and measurement standards. + Modernize legacy reporting into automated, connected solutions integrated with Salesforce and other core systems. + Ensure high standards for data accuracy, security, performance, and reliability across all reporting assets. Deliver Insight That Drives Performance + Lead the design and delivery of dashboards, analytical models, and tools that directly impact revenue and growth performance. + Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for executive and operational audiences. + Establish consistent measurement frameworks across Sales, Marketing, and other revenue-generating teams. + Support strategic initiatives such as territory design, sales planning, and client lifecycle analytics. Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team + Build, lead, and mentor a high-impact team of BI and analytics professionals. + Create a culture of analytical rigor, curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement. + Prioritize resources effectively and manage competing demands across multiple stakeholders. + Develop talent through coaching, clear expectations, and growth-focused development plans. Partner Across the Business + Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, Client Experience, and IT to understand business needs and deliver insight-driven solutions. + Partner with IT on data pipelines, ingestion frameworks, and infrastructure that support scalable analytics. + Act as a key commercial operations partner, ensuring analytics efforts are aligned to real business outcomes, not just reporting output. What We’re Looking For: Education & Experience + 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Commercial Operations. + 5+ years of people leadership experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. + Proven success supporting revenue-generating functions such as Sales, Marketing, or RevOps. + Experience in SaaS, technology, or data-rich environments preferred. Skills & Expertise + Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate business questions into scalable analytics solutions. + Deep expertise with BI tools and modern data environments. + Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex data into insights that influence senior leaders. + Excellent communication skills, with the ability to make data accessible to non-technical audiences. + Experience with forecasting, statistical modeling, or advanced analytics is a plus. + Highly collaborative leader with strong prioritization skills and comfort navigating ambiguity.
