GMMB seeks an experienced Senior Digital Media Planner to provide strategic counsel and develop comprehensive digital advertising strategies for our political clients. In this role, you'll synthesize industry research and trends to create compelling media recommendations, manage cross-platform digital campaigns across display, video, social, and mobile, and present strategic insights to clients and prospects.
**You are** **…a** **Senior Digital Media Planner** **who knows how to:**
+ Own the full lifecycle of digital media campaigns, from strategy and planning through execution, optimization, and performance analysis.
+ Serve as a strategic voice in media planning conversations, identifying optimization opportunities and continuously improving media processes.
+ Provide expert counsel to clients on digital media strategy, platform selection, audience targeting, budgeting, and measurement.
+ Translate research, audience insights, platform innovations, and cultural trends into clear, compelling media POVs and recommendations.
+ Develop and present persuasive media strategies for existing clients and new business pitches.
+ Manage day-to-day media buying operations, including creative trafficking, vendor coordination, billing, and reconciliation.
+ Monitor, optimize, and analyze campaign performance using platform data, third-party tools, and custom reporting frameworks.
+ Stay current on the evolving digital landscape, including changes in privacy, identity, measurement, and platform capabilities, and apply those learnings to improve campaign outcomes.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners, evaluate proposals, negotiate contracts, and understand the unique value of each platform.
+ Educate and collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, account, production, analytics) on digital media strategies, trends, and best practices.
+ You’re curious, responsible, and practical about AI, and know how to apply it in real-world digital media work. This may include:
+ Using AI-powered tools to support media planning, audience insights, forecasting, optimization, and reporting.
+ Partnering with analytics and data teams to leverage machine learning models for targeting, performance prediction, and measurement.
+ Evaluating platform-level AI solutions (automated bidding, creative optimization, algorithmic targeting) with a critical, strategic eye.
+ Ensuring AI is used ethically, transparently, and in alignment with client values, privacy standards, and organizational guidelines.
**You have…**
+ A Bachelor’s degree.
+ 4-6 years of digital advertising experience, with at least 2 years of programmatic buying experience (any DSP).
+ Social Buying Experience on Meta, Twitter, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn, Snapchat.
+ Experience buying and managing cross-platform digital advertising programs, utilizing various assets including display, video and mobile.
+ Experience managing awareness (branding or message) and acquisition/performance programs.
+ Understanding of search engine marketing space and social media platforms.
+ Experience leveraging AI-powered tools and platform automation to inform digital media planning, optimization, performance analysis, and reporting.
+ Experience planning, executing, and managing paid influencer programs, including and performance measurement across social platforms.
+ Strong analytical skills with an ability to understand paid media concepts quickly.
+ Ability to work across teams and with a variety of stakeholders.
+ The ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment with shifting priorities.
+ Flexibility to work evenings and weekends - because we're a client services firm so sometimes that's when our clients need us.
+ Strong interpersonal skills and can work collaboratively across teams.
+ A meticulous eye for detail and exceptional organization skills.

+ Experience working with an ad-serving platform (DCM preferred).
