**Description** We’re looking for a **Senior DevSecOps Engineer** to help design, build, and maintain modern, scalable web applications. You’ll work alongside a small, high-performing engineering team on projects that combine React or Angular front-ends, Node.js or Python backends, PostgreSQL databases, and AWS infrastructure. **Responsibilities:** + Develop, test, and deploy full stack web applications using modern frameworks and languages + Build clean, reusable, and well-documented front-end components (React, Angular, or similar) + Design and implement RESTful APIs or similar endpoints using Node.js or Python (FastAPI, Flask, etc.) + Integrate and optimize PostgreSQL or other relational databases + Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitLab (or equivalent) for automated builds, testing, and deployments + Collaborate with other engineers to design scalable architectures and improve DevSecOps practices + Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical design discussions + Support integration and deployment in AWS environments **Qualifications** **Education Requirements:** + Must possess a Bachelors degree and five (5) years' experience; Additional six (6) years' experience can be considred in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle) **Clearance Requirements:** + Must possess an active Secret security clearance; US Citizenship required **Required:** + 1-3 years of experience with AWS + 1-3 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) + 3–5 years of professional experience in full stack web development + Proficiency with React (or Angular/Vue) and TypeScript or similar tools + Experience with Node.js and/or Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Express) or similar tools + Solid understanding of SQL and relational database design (PostgreSQL preferred) + Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD or similar build/deploy pipelines + Working knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, or CloudFormation) + Strong debugging, testing, and version control practices REQNUMBER: 2511494 SAIC is a premier technology integrator, solving our nation's most complex modernization and systems engineering challenges across the defense, space, federal civilian, and intelligence markets.
