Senior DevOps Engineer (Openshift)

Our team is looking for a motivated and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer (OpenShift) to be part of a multicultural, high-performing, cross-functional and agile team responsible for the design, implementation and building services for European and international organizations. Our Athens office is building a strong DevOps capability, providing cross-functional support for all clients.

The position requires 30-50% on-site presence in Strasbourg, France.

Your role:   

Implement and manage continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.Utilize Argo CD for declarative GitOps continuous deployment in an OpenShift environment.Implement and maintain automated deployment pipelines using Jenkins, aiming to streamline the release process and reduce manual intervention.Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate deployment processes and ensure quality of the release.Integrate automated testing frameworks and tools into the CI pipeline to ensure code reliability and quality.Monitor and enhance system performance, ensuring optimal reliability and efficiency.Implement and maintain containerization solutions with Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline software development lifecycle.Develop and maintain documentation for deployment processes and configurations.Design scalable network solutions for improved organizational performance.

Your profile:   

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps.Strong proficiency in using Argo CD for GitOps continuous deployment.Expertise in Red Hat OpenShift including installation options, configuration, management, and administration post installation.Proven experience in OpenShift Data Foundation.Extensive experience with Jenkins for building and managing CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.Understanding of security principles and best practices in deployment pipelines.Good command of the English language.You must be eligible for EU Security Clearance (at least 5 years of EU nationality in required).
