Senior DevOps Engineer - CI/CD & Automation (C#)

**CTG is seeking to fill a Senior DevOps Engineer – CI/CD & Automation (C#) position for our client.**
**Location:** Milwaukee, WI
**Duration:** 6 months
**Duties:**
+ Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to support efficient, secure, and scalable software delivery.
+ Develop, integrate, and maintain automation frameworks and autonomous agents to streamline deployment and release processes.
+ Build and orchestrate CI/CD workflows using tools such as GitLab, Harness, Terraform, and Ansible.
+ Write and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and other scripting languages as needed.
+ Collaborate closely with application development and operations teams to improve deployment reliability, performance, and scalability.
+ Ensure seamless integration of intelligent agents into existing enterprise workflows, enabling responsiveness to changing conditions.
+ Monitor, analyze, and optimize CI/CD pipeline performance and resilience.
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the full release lifecycle.
**Skills:**
+ Strong expertise in CI/CD automation and pipeline design, with hands-on experience using GitLab and Harness.
+ Solid proficiency in C# development; familiarity with Java is a plus.
+ Experience with infrastructure automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
+ Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
+ Hands-on experience with agent-based automation and integration frameworks.
+ Deep understanding of DevOps principles, SDLC methodologies, and modern software delivery practices.
+ Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
+ Ability to design adaptive workflows for complex enterprise environments.

**Nice to Have:**
+ Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
+ Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
+ Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and performance management tools.
+ Background in AI-driven automation or intelligent agent design.
**Experience:**
+ Senior-level experience in DevOps, CI/CD engineering, or application development with strong DevOps responsibilities.
+ Proven experience installing, configuring, and managing DevOps automation tools across cloud and on-premise environments.
+ Demonstrated success implementing continuous integration, automated builds, versioning, packaging, deployment, and continuous testing.
+ Strong foundation in software engineering processes and DevOps best practices.
**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
