Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern DevOps practices, automation, and CI/CD, with hands-on expertise in GitHub, GitHub Actions, Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines, Databricks pipelines, SQL, Maven, and Helm charts. The candidate should be well-versed in Agile methodologies and possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
. Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
. Able to design and develop branching and Versioning strategies
. Knowledge on handling parallel releases
. Administer and optimize GitHub repositories, workflows, and permissions.
. Develop, deploy, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
. Create and maintain infrastructure as code using Helm charts for Kubernetes deployments.
. Automate build and release processes using Maven and related tools.
. Collaborate with development, QA, and Data Engineering teams to streamline releases and deployments.
. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in CI/CD pipelines, data integration, and infrastructure.
. Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation, transformation, and reporting tasks.
. Contribute to Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
. Document DevOps processes, standards, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles.
Strong expertise in GitHub and GitHub Actions (workflow automation, secrets management, etc.).
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks pipelines.
Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
Experience with Maven build automation for Java projects.
Solid understanding of Helm charts and Kubernetes deployments.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and experience working in Agile teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across functions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
Exposure to monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, ELK).
Experience with security and compliance in CI/CD pipelines.
