Job Description:
Role Summary
The Senior DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain robust DevOps practices across cloud and on-prem environments. This role focuses on Azure cloud services, CI/CD automation, security compliance, scalable infrastructure, and AI-driven automation to enable high-performing software delivery. You will collaborate with development teams, lead automation initiatives, and ensure operational excellence.
Total years of Experience: 6 to 10 years
Key Responsibilities
Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud deployments.
Implement Azure services for compute, networking, storage, and container orchestration.
Ensure security and compliance across DevOps workflows.
Drive AI-powered monitoring, predictive scaling, and intelligent automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and reliability.
Must-Have Skills
Azure Fundamentals: Resource Groups, Subscriptions, RBAC.
Networking Basics: VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Load Balancers.
Storage: Blob, File, Queue, Table.
Compute & Deployment:
Azure VMs, Scale Sets.
Azure App Services (Web Apps, Functions).
Containers: Azure Container Instances, AKS.
CI/CD & Automation:
Azure DevOps (Pipelines – YAML & Classic, Repos, Artifacts, Boards).
Infrastructure as Code: ARM Templates, Bicep, Terraform.
Scripting: Azure CLI, PowerShell.
Monitoring & Logging:
Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights.
Alerts and dashboards.
Security & Compliance:
Managed Identities, Key Vault.
Policies and Blueprints.
Secure pipeline practices.
Scaling & Reliability:
Autoscaling rules.
Load balancing (Azure Front Door, Traffic Manager).
Good-to-Have Skills
Integration with GitHub Actions or Jenkins for hybrid CI/CD.
Basic software development (C#, Java)
Knowledge of multi-cloud deployments.
Familiarity with Kafka, Apache Ignite, and distributed systems.
AI & Intelligent Automation:
AI-driven monitoring and anomaly detection.
Familiarity with Azure Cognitive Services and Azure Machine Learning.
Predictive scaling and self-healing infrastructure.
Exposure to AI-based log analysis and incident prediction.
Experience with data analytics dashboards for operational intelligence.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
5–8 years of experience in DevOps with strong Azure expertise.
Strong scripting and automation skills.
Excellent problem-solving and collaboration abilities.
