Senior Developer - Software Tester

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Automation Engineer with expertise in Oracle HCM and Performance Management modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure high-quality product delivery. You will collaborate closely with functional and technical teams to validate business processes, enhance test coverage, and streamline QA efforts.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Oracle HCM modules, especially Performance Management.
+ Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing using automation tools.
+ Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business analysts to understand functional requirements and translate them into test cases.
+ Ensure test coverage across workflows such as goal setting, appraisals, feedback cycles, and talent reviews in Oracle HCM.
+ Identify, document, and track bugs; work with developers for timely resolution.
+ Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and standards.
+ Maintain traceability of test cases to requirements and support UAT efforts.
+ Generate test summary reports and QA metrics to communicate progress and risks.
**Qualifications:**
+ 4–8 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
+ Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, OATS, UFT, or Oracle Application Testing Suite.
+ Experience testing Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud – especially Performance Management workflows.
+ Proficiency in writing SQL queries and validating backend data.
+ Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
+ Experience with test management tools like JIRA, ALM, or Zephyr.
+ Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Oracle HCM Cloud certification(s).
+ Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
+ Exposure to other Oracle modules such as Core HR, Talent Management, or Compensation is a plus.
+ Experience with performance testing tools is a bonus.
