Senior Designer (Instrument)

Job Responsibilities:

Perform administrative activities for Instrument databases using SPI and/or AVEVA Instrumentation tools.Support all aspects of Instrument engineering and design through project database tools.Take full responsibility and accountability for all database administration activities.Prepare Material Take-Off (MTO) for Instrument materials such as cables, cable glands, installation materials, junction boxes, hook-up materials, and equipment supports.Extract drawings/documents from 3D models, including equipment layouts, antenna general arrangements, MTO, and cable schedules (preferred).Provide solutions and resolve comments related to design and instrument databases.Develop weight reports for Instruments.Coordinate with other disciplines for cable trays, MCTs, trimmers, etc.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of experience in Instrumentation design within the Offshore/Oil & Gas industry, including greenfield and brownfield projects.Proven experience in administering AVEVA Instrumentation or SPI databases independently for detailed engineering projects.Strong background and understanding of Instrumentation design principles.Ability to work independently and lead database-related activities.Possess teamwork skills and interact with other disciplines colleagues, clients, and suppliersProficiency in 2D drafting tools such as AutoCAD and MicroStation.Knowledge of 3D modeling software such as AVEVA E3D, PDMS, and SP3D is preferred.Knowledge of 3D tools such as E3D and S3D is preferred.Site survey experience is an advantage.
